Posted by Dave Schmidt Found the below listed site showing the decommissioning of boats in Bremerton Wa. The pictures are sad showing the scrapping of various boats including a few Skipjack class but at the same time the pictures are impressive. The keeper of the site also detailed the various steps leading to defueling and eventual total loss of the boat. Take a look and I think your like it.
