I have the brass plate off the wardroom door. A dive buddy of mine found it (and part of the decaying door) while diving the Tacoma Narrows bridge. He give it to me when he found out I was stationed on her. This happened in 1990 when I was stationed at Trident Training Facility Bangor, Washington. Too bad I have prior engagement and won't be at the reunion. I would have brought it along.
