We rescued Max from the Oakville Humane Society when he was 8 mos old -- he had been abandoned at 4 months. He has been the very best dog we ever had. We moved up here to Haliburton, and gave him a wonderful new life swimming, fetching etc. He changed from a skittish, fearful dog to one that was the most loving ever. Even when we took him to OVC in Guelph last week, he was kissing all the vets. He was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, and we had to put him down at age 3. My husband and I are so sad, that we can't eat or sleep. We can use any help and advice you can give us. Kate, we do know what you're going thru. Thanks, Jan & Rick
