I wanted to let everyone know why I've been sort of quiet since then. My dad got really sick almost a year ago, and was in and out of hospital for months. This Christmas (on New Year's day actually) we finally found out why: he has lung cancer (stage III b, inoperable). Needles to say, he doesn't have a lot of time. I'm sorry to post about a human on a pet loss board, but think about it-- when we're losing a loved one, we always think about the ones we've already lost and of course sable is at the forefront of my mind. I can't stop thinking about her, and I feel like I'm going through the grief yet again, a second time. Sorry to be depressing; I just feel that life is horrible to us, sometimes, and it helps to share the burden. I hope you're all well
