Thats just heart breaking, your poor little girl. I also have a 5 year old and he is not sure exactly how to hand this either. At first he did not care, now he is saying he misses Jesse. My 9 year old is heartbroken also, he said why did Jesse have to die when he had such a good home, it broke my heart. I also have all the same guilt you have, should I have, could I have and what if.....but I did do the best I could, I stood there and stroked his head as he left us..the rest just takes time I guess.
