If you do, then you should also ask about types of urns that are available. You should also specify whether you want the urn sealed or not - the cremains are returned to you in a sealed bag inside the urn and you have the option of also having the actual urn sealed. Please let us know how Suki is doing and if there is anything we can do to help, please let us know. Thoughts are with you both,

Dear Julie-Anne
I am sorry to hear of your Suki's diagnosis and am glad that the medication has helped to ease some of her discomfort.
There are a couple of places that you can contact about having cremation performed:
http://www.thistledown.info/services.html
Although they are in Uxbridge, they will come and pick your pet up either from your home or from your vet's office. You can contact them directly by the telephone number on their website.
You can ask your vet to contact them for you and have your vet ask them to call you so you can make arrangements in advance.
http://www.gatewaypetmem.com
You can contact them directly through their website.
http://www.oakvillehumane.ca/about/services1.html
Located right in Oakville, they also perform cremation services as well as serving as a humane society.
