Thank you for putting into words what I have been feeling since I heard about this terrible tragedy. My heart goes out to Constable Kevin Bradfield who was riding Brigadier as it sounds, from all accounts, that they had such a wonderful, special bond. I am sure that the emotional pain Const. Bradfield is feeling is terrible and I wish there was someway that we could all help him.
Brigadier was a beautiful horse and I, too, agree that the individual who committed this malicious, intentional assault on Brigadier and on Const. Bradfield should be charged with on two counts of attempted murder, that Brigadier should be considered an officer in every respect of the word.
To add to your last line, Dale,
"We all treasure our pets like family, but to deliberately try to hurt an innocent animal is unforgettable" AND unforgiveable.
