Maggie is gone...I held her in my arms as the injection was given. She was at peace. The vet was wonderful and explained each step and reinforced that what I was doing was the right thing and that at age 14 Maggie was blessed.
I know I did the right thing. It was over very quickly, and the Magster was eating dog treats up until her last breath. I should only be so lucky.
Thank you all so much for your kind words and help in getting me thru this.
She was a good dog and I will miss her terribly.
