Another way that we have found helps in coping, is to be able to talk to others who have experienced the loss of a pet. While each individual situation is different, the people who attend our support group meetings all understand how painful it is when our beloved pets die. I don't know what area you live in Charlene, but if you are in the GTA/Toronto/Mississauga and surrounding area you are most welcome to attend our next meeting on January 27, 2007. (Additional details will be posted on this message board shortly). If you are not in the local area, please don't hesitate to email me and I will try to locate a group that is near to you. You may also email me if you just need to "talk". My thoughts and prayers are with you, Charlene and Steve, and if there is any way I can help you through this loss, please don't hesitate to contact me. With sincere sympathy,

Dear Charlene and Steve
I am so very sorry to learn of the tragic accident that took your Chewy from you. I am sure you are both feeling very lost without your Chewy - these furbabies are definitely such an integral part of our families.
While no one can answer all of yours and Steve's questions, there are a number of articles that you may find helpful at www.griefhealing.com. I've listed a few of them below that you might want to cut and paste into your browser:
