Thanks,Terry, for your kind words. I did speak to the vet a couple weeks after Cobra died,seeking some answers. He said the whole clinic had discussed the situation and really could not say what happened except perhaps a blood clot had formed. That makes me feel even worse as I can still hear Cobra's cries as they were taking him down to the clinic. If I could do it all over I would have said " wait let's not do yhe surgery" and have taken him home.
I went to the first Toronto support group the Monday after Cobra died but could not get to the second this past Monday. Somehow, though, this is easier as when I start to talk all I do is cry.
