I wish I had the words that could help you through this but I know that no matter what I say, your heart is still so heavy and I really do understand how you are feeling. A similar situation happened with my cat Smokey and I wondered if I could have done something differently.
If you decide to come to our meeting at any time, Louise, you will be most welcome and I know that the people at the meeting would be very supportive and caring.
