I know just it feels to lose a precious dog, has i have lost 2 dogs in my life the first was a lovely indian red daucshound named penny she was a smooth coated variety she died in 1980 from a massive heart attack with cancer all over her aged only 7 years old, i looked at her with over flowing tears of remorsement to put her to sleep in my arms has she looked up and i felt has if i killed her like a murderer i felt so rotten it took me 2 years to get over her death then in 1990 i decided my must go and get another dog the home is too quiet so i went along and got a rough coated tan and white jack russell she also was so friendly with a great temperment i had her a bit longer when she became ill also and her characistics was very rare has jack russels usually have brown eyes she had green jaded ones we called her shannon, i had to do the same again to put her to sleep she was only 12 years old also died of cancer, i just couldnt face another dog when i put her down it was a bit longer this time to get over her death, people have asked me why dont you get another has its now 2007 you havent had a dog for ages, well to tell you honestly i love to but i just cant face up to another death of a dog, but they both were cremated and i have there ashes in seperat jars so when its my turn to be called they are coming with me, i am getting buried so at least i will not be alone.
