I am so so sorry for your loss. But you know, what you did was the most loving thing a pet owner can do. YOU are in pain, and suffering with grief, but your Cleo is not. How brave of you to let her go.
And you know, the doubts and feelings of guilt and "what ifs" are all normal. But you know, the vet would have told you if there was anything they could have done differently. And I am glad that you had a supportive vet, who helped make this a dignified and loving end for your Cleo.
20 years...and a lifetime of memories in your heart.
