I am so sorry for your loss. Take your time in your grief.
There is no time line to these things.
My Poubelle died in his sleep on October 18, 2006...and sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday. He used to sit in our living room window, and to this day, more than 8 months since he's been gone, I can't bring myself to clean all his kitty fur off the inside of the curtain!
Thanks for telling us about Ebony...and may you find some comfort in knowing that Ebony lives on in your heart, and now in ours!
