It is never easy when we have to say goodbye to our beloved pets. I understand when you say that you loved her probably more than most humans and I think most of the people who post here feel as you do too. They bring so much joy and unconditional love into our lives and always, always make us feel like we are very, very special!
If you need to talk, Melanie, please don't hesitate to contact us, or, if you are outside the GTA/Halton/Peel area, let me know where you are and I can let you know of any support groups in your area. It can really be helpful being able to talk with others who understand - who don't expect you to "just get over it". You have lost an important, much loved, member of your family and your grief is real. We do understand and if we can help in any way, please let us know!
