I'm thinking about planting a tree on my parents-in-law property and placing him there.

I thought I would pop in and let you know how we are doing. It has been over two months since we lost Rudy and slowly I am getting over his loss. I still have some sad moments and miss him terribly.
I now work at the vet clinic where we had to take Rudy to have him put down so I know he's there in spirit with me as I do my grooming.
Rocky, my other dog, is doing OK. He's still a little mopey but he's a lot better than he was.
My son still asks occasionally about Rudy but we have told him that he was sick and has died and won't be coming home anymore. He then turns around and tells me not be sad. Such an amazing kid.
So life goes on and is slowly getting better.
