Dear Louise
I am so sorry that your cat, and you, are going through this.
Unfortunately, I haven't personally been in your situation and, if I were, I guess I would probably have to rely on my vet's advice and determine what my kitty's quality of life is like. Hopefully, by staying at the vet's and being on antibiotics and appetite increasing meds, your kitty will start to feel well again.
Please keep us posted on how you both are doing and remember that we are here if you need to talk or want to come to the next meeting.
