She must have been a wonderful addition to both of your lives. It's definitely not easy to go through the loss of a treasured family member. I lost my dog at the end of April, and I feel the same as you. I don't know if I can go through the loss again. Perhaps talking with your husband will allow him to understand how you are feeling, and in time once the pain has resided, you may have the desire to have another furry bundle of joy in your life.
