Hi. I need some advise. My daughter is 6 and is very sensitive. She loves all of God's creatures from grasshoppers to horses to ants to elephants. Unfortunately we just found out that one of our dogs has cancer ( this is her third and final bout of cancer ) and the vet is saying that it is not looking good. We are having some minor tests done tomorrow but it looks like for our old girl's sake we will end up putting her down before the cancer gets any worse. Telling my daughter is going to be the hardest thing I have ever had to do. She understands death and knows what it is about and why. We have had our dog for 10 years and she has never known life without her. Does anyone have any words of wisdom on how or what I should say?? Thank you for your insight and help....I should also say that the thought of loosing her, although I know it is whats best for her, is killing me......
