I just saw your post and wanted to add my thoughts and prayers.
I hope you were able to get some answers yesterday, please do keep us posted.
I had my cat Poubelle cremated by the Oakville Humane Society. I chose private cremation, so I got his ashes returned to me. It cost $130.00, and his ashes were returned to me in a lovely ceramic urn with a brass plaque that had his name engraved on it.

I am so sorry you are going through this, it is so difficult. Just know that you are doing everything out of love for Rusty, so there can be no "wrong" decisions.
