Julia - Catherine is right. Enjoy each moment that you have with Russ - and take lots of pictures. My cat Atticus was diagnosed with kidney failure last January. I didn't know how long he would survive but it turned out he lived another year. I have many wonderful memories of that year and caring for him is part of them. He had many good days and now that he's gone I take comfort in those memories. Enjoy the time you have with Russ. Pat
