Dear Lesley,
My heart goes out to you. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss.
Sounds like you have had to deal with some pretty difficult losses in the last little while, and so near to Christmas must be even more difficult.
I understand your desire to never celebrate Christmas again...with anniversaries of loss so close, it will certainly be an emotional time for you.
Anniversaries are always difficult, but perhaps someday, when you are ready, the joy of your memories will see you through the season.
All I can offer up is the knowledge that these painful losses really do get less painful as time goes by. Your heart breaks, absolutely it does. But with time, the memories of your beloved dogs will start to heal the heartbreak, and you are left with beautiful memories that are yours forever...memories that you will cherish, and take comfort from.
Your babies are together again, at the Rainbow Bridge. They are together, while they wait for that day, someday, when you join them.
Until the time comes that you see them again, hold the love you shared with them close to you, let it help you, heal you.
I am sending you a huge hug...please know that you are not alone in this.
Laurien
