Hi Louise,
I just wanted to send you a message to tell you I am thinking of you.
And thinking of your dear Cobra, happy at the Rainbow Bridge.
You know, Louise, I bet your Cobra and my Poubelle are the best of friends now. They are together, having tons of cat fun, and are happy knowing that we both found our way to this board.
If it helps at all, I found that after the one year anniversary of Poubelle's death, it really seemed to lift a huge weight off my heart. I had dreaded the day for so long, that it was almost a relief of sorts for me to know that I had made it.
In those early days of grief, it is so hard to imagine that you would ever feel good again, but time really does heal. We will always miss them, always, but the memories, and all that we learned from them being in our lives, never goes away.
