Of my three dogs, my 9 year old has a failing liver due to cholangiohepatitis (he’s already jaundiced and it’s only a matter of day’s) and the 12-13 year old has what is believed to be a bulging disc which had his back legs almost useless (just happened yesterday though has had arthritis for years and is no better today even with the meds the Vet gave yesterday). I haven’t worked for a while (taking care of my first dog and going to college). My first dog has taken up nearly all my time and now my second baby needs full time care. I live alone, and I have no other family. He can’t be moved much at all, except to eat and go “outside”. The Vet told me last night that I would either have to spend several thousand dollars on him or put him to sleep. I explained to her about my other dog ( different Vet, same LARGE Vet hospital) and she just shrugged. I’m running low on money, sanity, spirit and hope. Does anyone have any coping strategies? Suzy
