Dear Suzy
I am so sorry to hear of all you are going through and that you don't have alot of support, especially emotionally. Although we can't tell you what to do, Suzy, one thing for sure is that if there is a support group near you and you could contact them, just to talk, it may help a bit. I'm not sure where you are located - if you are in Ontario, you can contact us and we are more than willing to talk to you and possibly, if we aren't geographically close to you, to find you a group that is.
If you are in another province, we may be able to help you find a group or if you are in the U.S. you can contact the Iams Pet Loss Support Resource Center at 1-888-332-7738, Monday to Saturday, 8a.m. to 8 p.m.
The next while is going to be difficult for you and at least if you have some support through a group, you won't have to go through this entirely alone.
I don't know where you are Suzy or if any of the criteria at The Farley Foundation would apply to you in order to get financial aid but it wouldn't hurt to look into it.
In the meantime if there is anything we can do or if you just want to talk, either in msn instant messenger or by email or by telephone (if you are in Ontario) please don't hesitate to contact us.
