I live in Portland, Or and I've searched for support centers, but maybe I have not looked hard enough. I will call the number you provided and see if they can help find a support group in this area. Jake had a rough night last night, changing position so much that he kept me awake most of the night. But that doesn't matter, it just indicates he's really having trouble breathing and possibly in pain. I have some real thinking to do today (before the Vet closes). They will come to the house for the "final goodbye", but understandably during their hours of operation (and this is Good Friday). I've had him since he was 5 weeks old and I need to think about what's best for him, no? Thanks again for taking the time to post. Bye, Suzy
